About Me:    The Spokane area is my lifetime home, besides my 7 years in the military. I own property in both the Spokane Valley and Mead area, where I currently live. I am a high school teacher of 26 years, where I met Kris Pockell. My wife and I have owned the Brambleberry Cottage and Tea Shoppe for almost 30 years in our community. I have also coached high school sports from L.A. to Seattle and here in Spokane for over 35 years.  About Me:    A lifelong Eastern Washington resident, I was born in Spokane, graduated from University High in 1989, and earned a Fisheries Biology degree from Central Washington University in 1995. After working in fisheries until 2000, I returned to Spokane to raise my family and transitioned into manufacturing, running a machine shop for over 12 years. Nine years ago, I became a service engineer. I've been married for 25 years and have three wonderful daughters.

Issues I am passionate about:     Education, Boosting the Local Economy and Attracting Businesses, Homelessness, Public Safety

Why Kris Pockell:    When I met Kris, he was unsure of his path. I gave him an opportunity, and he became a skilled machinist and programmer. He later pursued college, became a software engineer, and built a successful career. Kris is driven and determined—qualities that will make him a strong advocate for his community.
